ATTENTION VISA ATM/DEBIT & CREDIT CARD HOLDERS:
SSCU was recently informed of a large scale compromise involving account data from all card brands at TJX Stores. Trade names under TJX, include TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Bob’s Stores, & A.J. Wright Stores in the U.S.; Winner’s and HomeSense in Canada; and T.K. Maxx in Europe. To minimize your risk, we urge you to consider one of the following options:
- Watch your account closely.
- Review transactions regularly. You may access your accounts anytime through our online banking at www.sscumember.org.
- You may want to register your credit card with Verified by Visa, where you’ll assign a unique password to your cards. Verified by Visa ensures that only you may use your card online.
- As a regular practice, we have several systems in place to monitor your account for fraud, and we will notify you if we suspect any unusual activities.
- Request a new card.
- You may request a new card be issued to your account. To do this you may call a Specialist at (217)528-2642 or e-mail us at info@sscumember.org. We will be happy to block your card & reorder a new one for you. Your new card will be mailed to you within 7-10 business days of the order date.
